There is no more pressing need than housing that Lacey residents can afford. We have a housing shortage for all income levels, which contributes to people being priced out of the housing market.

How can Lacey accommodate 20,000 new residents in the next two decades without sacrificing the quality of life we love?

Lacey is Thurston County's most diverse city, and we are leading the way with equity and inclusion policies. 

As a Thurston Climate Mitigation Collaborative member, I've worked to move Lacey forward in addressing climate change. We know that buildings are our most significant source of carbon emissions, closely followed by vehicle exhaust.
